This Privacy Policy establishes the terms in which MonkeyReader interacts with the data in the mobile app. This app does not provide any way for the users to upload their data to our servers or a third party server. There is no authentication feature. The app works locally and offline.
MonkeyReader is an app with no authentication feature. It works totally in the local device of the user. So no information is collected and no information can be collected.
MonkeyReader is an app to read aloud files as text with text-to-speech feature. For that, it requires access to the files that the user wants to read aloud. Apart from that, MonkeyReader does not have access to other system files. MonkeyReader never sends data online of any kind.
MonkeyReader allows users to extract text from websites using an WebView. The users have total control over which website is opened in this WebView, MonkeyReader does not open by default any particular website. It works like a simple browser.
Once the user opens a custom link in the WebView, we no longer have control over the site to which the user is redirected and therefore we are not responsible for the terms or privacy or the protection of your data on those other third party sites. These sites are subject to their own privacy policies, so it is recommended that you consult them to confirm that you agree with them.
This section "About ads in the mobile app" only applies to the free app in the Play Store. The premium app does not have any advertising and therefore this section does not apply to it.
The service used for ads in the mobile app is AdMob.
